Florida Georgia Line were the subject of a bizarre protest at the Country Music Hall of Fame this week. Singer Wheeler Walker, Jr. held up a picket sign at the Nashville institution protesting the new FGL exhibit. It read “FGL does not belong here,” insisting they were “pop” and not “country.”
“My American rights…Florida Georgia Line does not belong here,” he screamed outside the museum suggesting tourists go home. “They have a Florida Georgia Line exhibit, man, it stinks. They stink.”
Walker then tried to take the protest inside the lobby, but security stopped him and forced him to leave. “Is there a Florida Georgia Line country song I can hear?” he asked, with the guard replying, “We can go outside and pull it up on Google.”
