Amazon has been offering delivery of products from Whole Foods and Amazon Fresh to make grocery shopping absolutely painless for awhile now. But the website has been charging $14.99 per month for food delivery, which was still similar to the pricing of some of their grocery delivery competitors.
So, to get the free delivery offer, Prime members have to have made food delivery orders in the past. If you haven't made a food delivery before, you must request an invitation to the offer which could take some time.
But if that waiting leads to nearly no wait for FREE food delivery in one-to-two hours...maybe it's worth it?
