A new video by Sandy Hook Promise shows typical back to school items like sneakers, pencils, socks and jackets being used in an emergency during a school shooting. The PSA debuted Wednesday September 18th on TODAY.
This is a part of Sandy Hook Promise's "Know the Signs" campaign that looks to educate students, teachers and parents about seeing the signs of a potential school shooter and intervening before it's too late.
I will admit it was very hard for me to watch.
