Journalist Yashar Ali started things off by posting a photo showing a range of 10 differently toasted marshmallows, with one being totally untoasted and 10 looking completely torched. His tweet says that only “5 or 6 are correct,” but the people of Twitter have lots of opinions about that.
Chrissy Teigen weighed in,tweeting she prefers her marshmallows at seven and eight, adding that five and six “might as well be plain ass mallows!!!!!” And many others say they like theirs on the darker side, too, with one chiming in that they like it when “the crunchy outer shell pops and releases the sweet heaven of the melted interior.”
