Beautician Sarah Clarke in the UK started the trend with one customer and it’s really been taking off. So many people are interested in getting Clarke’s “baby scan nails” that she’s booked weeks in advance and can’t handle all the requests for appointments.
In a Facebook post, she explained the because of the high demand, she’s going to offer the sonogram nail art on a tip for other nail techs to apply. That way the moms-to-be doesn’t have to wait for an appointment with Clarke.
To get these nails you just send in your photo and she’ll sell you the sonogram nail art tip and your regular nail person can put it on. And if you happen to want to hold on to that nail with your baby’s blurry grey image on it, they have you covered. The post explains, “The nail will be sent in a presentation box so you can keep the tip as a keepsake, as many people have already asked for.”
