It's hard to keep up with all the new dating terms and slang nowadays, but we try. Here's the newest terminology to add to your word bank:
- Cause-playing- when a casual relationship ends because one of the people ask for a favor that you would normally ask from somebody you're dating.
- Eclipsing- when you copy the interests of the person you're dating and act like you always had those hobbies.
- White Clawing- when you stay with someone only because you find some attractive physically.
- Yellow carding- when you point out a person's bad dating etiquette and call them out on it.
- Dial toning- it's a step before 'ghosting', when someone gives you their number and they never answer any calls or texts.
