Google Maps is releasing an Incognito mode.

By turning on this feature, Maps will not save your locations or the directions you look up. To activate Incognito, go into your settings. Currently, the feature is only available for Android users, but will be coming to IOS soon.

Previously, Maps tracked all this info and your location history could be tracked via this feature.
