Sam Hunt was one of the hottest artists in country a few years ago after releasing his debut album “Montevallo”. He's been pretty quiet ever since and he shared with ET Canada why...
“For a couple of years there, it was pretty intense. And it was a drastic change of pace and a drastic lifestyle shift for me,” he shares. “So I kind of took a step back, because I really didn’t feel like I was smelling the roses.” He adds, “I stepped back and I processed everything and made a conscious effort to think about how I wanted the next few years to go. I took a step back to reboot.”
Sam says he hopes to release his next album in 2020, and expects to release a new single before the end of this year.
