Because of the pandemic, the highly anticipated sequel Bill and Ted Face the Music will simultaneously premiere on demand and in theaters (if any are open) on September 1st.
The movie, which reunites Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter, was originally set to open in theaters August 21st but has seen its release date moved several times.
The new release date was announced on Thursday along with the first full trailer.
This comes on the heels of the Christoper Nolan movieTenet and Disney's Mulan being indefinitely pulled from the release schedule.
