Can cabbage fight coronavirus? Get ready to start eating a lot of sauerkraut, because according to a new study from France, raw and fermented cabbage can fight COVID-19 by reducing the levels of a compound that helps the virus infect the body. The study found that cabbage – whether raw, pickled, or in coleslaw -- could help people build up resistance to the virus. The study found that cucumbers were also found to have coronavirus-fighting properties. (NY Post)
The world is weird right now, so people are making it weirder – by dropping acid. New research has found that acid use has become more popular in the last few years – increasing 50% between 2015 and 2018 ... and increasing even more because of coronavirus.
“LSD is used primarily to escape. And given that the world’s on fire, people might be using it as a therapeutic mechanism,” said University of Cincinnati doctoral candidate and study author Andrew Yockey. “Now that COVID’s hit, I’d guess that use has probably tripled.” (NY Post)
