Fizz kill …Ethanol plants across the country, which produce the carbon dioxide that's needed for beer, soda and other carbonated beverages, are experiencing a supply shortage due to coronavirus. Less ethanol being produced means CO2 is costing beverage companies more money -- and that could put a dent into the supply of beer, sodas and seltzers. (NY Post)

Buzzin’ … When you’re way past due for a cut and color at the salon, but you can’t go, it’s natural to feel like just shaving it all off. But actually going through with it is another story. Well, some women aren’t just dreaming about chopping it all off – they’re doing it. Whether it’s frustration, experimentation, expression or empowerment, these ladies are giving themselves “quarantine buzzes” – and they are rockin’ the look. (Cosmo)

So quarantine FOMO is now a thing. People are looking at social media posts and starting to feel anxious about “failing” at being at home. They feel bad that they aren’t learning a new language, or baking bread, or whipping coffee, or live-streaming workouts or creating elaborate scavenger hunts for their kids. But mental health experts stress that there is no “right” way to shelter at home. We’re all just trying to make it through this the best way we can, says Jennifer Wolkin, a neuropsychologist and assistant professor of psychology at NYU. "This is a really unique situation we're in and everyone handles stress and fear differently, so start by giving yourself credit for doing the best you can,” she says. (The Healthy)
