Pro wrestling has a new character about to enter the ring: Gronk.
This week, Rob Gronkowski signed with the WWE. He premieres one week from Friday on SmackDown on FOX.
In 2019, Gronkowski helped Tom Brady and the New England Patriots win their sixthSuper Bowl. He retired after a bruising nine years in the NFL. Patriots fans adore Gronk, who never took himself too seriously. Pro wrestling will embrace that attitude.
Assuming coronavirus does not cancel the Super Bowl of professional wrestling, Gronk will make an appearance atWrestleMania 36in Tampa, Florida. It’s scheduled for the first Sunday in April. (The Wrap)
