Do you turn to Instagram for #fitspiration? Seems instead of inspiring people to get fit – these posts and hashtags are more deflating than motivating … especially for women. According to a new study out of Australia, when the average woman scrolls through her Instagram feed and sees images of super fit women with perfect bodies, it has the opposite effect on them – making them feel worse about their bodies rather than inspiring them to go out and exercise. “Despite their positive intentions and popularity, #fitspiration images are yet another way to make women feel worse about themselves and their bodies,” says Dr. Ivanka Prichard of Flinders University in Adelaide. (EurekAlert)

Brother of the bride plus one … llama. A New York woman named Riva Weinstock knows her brother would never break a promise, but this is one time she wishes he did. Five years ago, Mendl Weinstock told his sister that if she ever got married, he would bring a llama as his date. And last weekend, at her wedding, he made good on his promise. Mendl shocked his sister when he showed up with a llama, which he rented. Not only that, he even had a tuxedo specially made for the animal. He shared a photo of his special date on Reddit. Riva says she's now thinking of ways to return the favor.
