Killer Selfies …A new survey found that more people die taking selfies than in shark attacks. A report found that 259 people worldwide died in selfie-related accidents between 2011 and 2017, compared to just 50 people killed by sharks. 41% admit they have risked their lives and safety in order to take a selfie, and, amazingly, more than 50% of those surveyed said they would stand on the edge of a cliff to get the perfect selfie. Do you hate your driver’s license photo? Do you wish you could retake it? If you live in California, you may soon be able to. A state legislator has introduced a bill that would allow California drivers to pick from three DMV photos to print on their license. The new law would increase revenue by $5 per photo … but is also sure to increase the wait times at the DMV. (KABC-TV, Los Angeles)
Do you have a recurring nightmare? A survey found that the most common nightmare among Americans is free-falling. We are also often terrorized by dreams of being chased, dying and getting lost. Other common nightmares include being naked in public, failing to study for a school exam, and struggling to find a bathroom. According to the survey, men and women have different types of bad dreams. Men fear a technological breakdown and messing up at work, while women report frequent nightmares of infidelity and creepy crawly creatures. (Study Finds)
