Galentines’ Day is here to stay …A recent survey by retail company Zulily, found that 59% of respondents said they are skipping the romantic date night and choosing to spend February 14th with friends instead. Move over Valentine’s Day, Galentine’s Day is here to stay! Originally coined by Amy Poehler's character Leslie Knope on an episode ofParks and Recreation back in 2010, Google searches for the term have gone up a whopping 300% over the last six years. Un-traditional …A new survey has found that all those traditional life milestones – like marriage, kids, and buying a home – just aren’t as important to people as they used to be. The survey found that 61% of respondents said that those milestones just aren’t a priority. Why? Seems a lot of it has to do with money. 36% say they are delaying those life milestones until they are more financially secure. 47% say student load debt is keeping them from achieving those milestones.
