Randoms-First Thing to Drink in the AM, Nat'l Football Hangover Day, & More

National Football Hangover Day: Whether it’s a food hangover or a booze hangover, a lot of us are moving a bit more slowly today.

According to a recent survey, 17.5 million American workers are not working today, the day after the Super Bowl. Thesurvey, by the Workforce Institute at Kronos, found that 11.1 million employees say they will use pre-approved time off today, but 4.7 million employees said they would be calling in sick – even though they’re not. And 1.5 million workers said they won’t tell anyone they’re not coming in – they just won’t show up. Another 7.9 million employees are undecided and will wait until the last minute to decide whether to show up to work today.

And it’s no wonder lots of people want to make Super Bowl Monday a national holiday -- 40% of those surveyed said today should be a holiday, compared to 32% in 2019. 63% said the Super Bowl should be moved to the Sunday night before Presidents Day, which is already a national holiday.

Basically we wake up dehydrated, so having water first thing in the morning not only hydrates you, but also helps with digestion and metabolism. That doesn’t mean you have to skip your coffee – just make sure you have some water first. (MSN)

Fiery Valentine’s Day …Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, and what says “I love you” better than a heart-shaped box … filled with tiny bottles of Fireball whiskey? The cover of the box reads: Chocolate Is for Amateurs. (Delish)

Costco Connoisseur …A woman has visited 226 Costco stores in five different countries. 36-year-old Ramsey Monroe calls herself the "Costco Connoisseur" and hopes to visit all 776 Costco warehouses worldwide. "I just feel at home at Costco, so no matter where I am in the world, it's just comforting," she said. Ramsey also documents her Costco experiences on her website and social media accounts. • Trader Joe’s fans are pretty dedicated and there are plenty of fan sites dedicated to the grocery store. Some fast food fans have made it a point to go to one in every state and country they visit.
  • Is there are store or restaurant you are so dedicated to that you visit it anywhere you go?
