Randoms-Average Cost of Wedding in 2019, Food Delivery Service on New Level

Grandma meals …If you thought food delivery services like Blue Apron were awesome, listen to this … Birra Moretti, an Italian beer company, is hosting a free "Deliver-a-Nonna" service where an Italian grandmother (Nonna) will come to your house and cook an amazing three-course meal for you and your friends. The ingenious idea is part of Birra Moretti’s mission "to bring more people together around tables in 2019." According to the company’s promotional materials, the grannies will arrive in Moretti branded cars "packing everything they need to create the most authentic Italian home cooking experience.” Unfortunately, it’s currently only available for residents of London and Brighton in the U.K. (Insider)

Speaking of food …Seems lot of Millennial parents are raising plant-powered kids. According to a new survey by plant-based “meat” company Impossible Foods, Millennials are eating more and more plant-based meats – especially Millennials with kids. According to their research, Millennials with kids are eating more plant-based meats than Millennials without kids – 70% to 60% respectively. (Food and Wine)

It’s wedding season …can you guess how much the average wedding costs? According to The Knot's recent Real Weddings Study, couples are currently spending an average of $33,931 on their big day. That doesn’t even include the honeymoon. (Pop Sugar)

Shave-free summer?Razor company Billie, which calls itself a “female-first shave and body brand,” posted anInstagram adthis week that featured swimsuit models with natural body hair. In other words, they wore bathing suits without shaving their armpits or bikini line. The accompanying Instagram post read: “Hang on, why is there so much pressure to be ‘summer ready'? Magazines tell us to stop eating carbs in February, follow a 12-step routine to get the perfect beach bod, and to remove every last strand of hair before squeezing into a bathing suit. The 4th unofficially kicks off summer. So this summer, you do you. Let your hair down, maybe even out … we hope you’ll enjoy the breeze.”

Needless to say, there were plenty of comments. Some praised the ad and message for its body positivity, calling it fearless and necessary. Others were not quite as positive, saying it was gross and tacky.Thoughts?(Yahoo)
