Do you have a side hustle? You’re not alone. A new survey by Bankrate/YouGov found that 45% of working Americans have a side hustle – from walking dogs to driving Ubers to selling stuff online. And 43% of those with side hustles have full-time jobs. 33% said they need the extra money to get by. According to the survey, those working side gigs spend about 12 hours a week on their second job(s) and earn an average of $1,122 per month.

So sunburn tattoos are a thing …Yep, the latest social media trend has people putting stencils on different parts of their bodies and going out in the sun without protection to burn the image onto their skin. Then, of course, posting photos of it on social media with the hashtag #sunburntattooart. There are even retailers selling these stencils as tattoo stickers and sun tattoos. Just. No. (MSN)
Here’s a “fun” fact …Researchers in Australia have found that humans eat about five grams of microplastics every week – which is about the size of a credit card. Most of this plastic comes from drinking water, both from the tap and from bottles. Other sources include shellfish, beer and salt. (NY Post)
