Is homeownership out of reach for Millennials?A new survey found that the majority of American Millennials want to buy a home but feel it’s impossible – with 2 in 5 saying that owning a home is out of the question. Why? 42 percent say they can’t afford it. 33 percent say they don’t think they will ever be able to afford a down payment on a home, and 27 percent say the only way they will ever own a home is through inheritance. 30 percent of Millennials think they have a better shot at landing a date with an A-list celebrity than ever owning a home.

So what would Millennials do to get their “dream home”? According to the survey, a lot – including giving up many of their favorite things …

  • I would give up my iPhone forever -- 29%
  • I would never post on Instagram again -- 47%
  • I would give up Chipotle forever -- 48%
  • I would never eat avocado toast again -- 39%
  • I would break up with my partner -- 9%
  • I would have gone to Fyre Fest -- 23%
  • I would go to jail for a week -- 25%
  • I would listen to "Cotton Eye Joe" for a week straight -- 42%
  • I would survive in the wild for a week -- 28%
  • I would give up sex for five years -- 16%
  • I would give up sex for 10 years -- 13%
  • I would give up brunch forever -- 36%

30-something baby boom …A new study has found that, for the first time ever, women in their 30s are having more kids than women in their 20s and teens. A report from the National Bureau of Economic Research revealed that the highest birth rate in the U.S. was women between the ages of 30 and 34. (NY Post)
