Pillows and pooches … According to a new study, having your dog in your bed with you at night can improve the quality of your sleep. Researchers found that women who sleep with their dogs wake up less often in the middle of the night and have stronger feelings of comfort and security, especially when compared with human bed partners or cats. Early shoppers … There are people who get their Christmas shopping done early … and then there are these people. According to new research  nearly one in five shoppers between the ages of 18-34 completed at least 25 percent of their holiday shopping on Amazon Prime Day … in July. And 40 percent of consumers overall finished all their shopping by Prime Day. Again … this is in July.

And then there are the rest of us … According to a report by the National Retail Federation, 53 percent of holiday shoppers leave their shopping until the last Saturday before Christmas -- also known as “Super Saturday.” (The Ladders

There’s nothing like the smell of a Christmas tree … and apparently Starbucks believes there’s nothing like the taste of one either. Starbucks has just released one of their new seasonal lattes and it supposedly tastes just like a Christmas tree. According to Starbucks, the Juniper Latte has a “hint of juniper and sage, an evergreen aroma and citrus notes." It also has juniper syrup and "a dusting of pine-citrus sugar." If you’d rather smell your pine than drink it, there are plenty of other Starbucks holiday options, including: Peppermint Mocha, Caramel Brulée Latte, Chestnut Praline Latte, Gingerbread Latte and Eggnog Latte. Button down or button up? When it comes to fashion for both women and men, there’s nothing more timeless and classic than a white button-down shirt. Or is it a button-up shirt? Actually, what is it?! Suddenly confused? You’re not the only one. Over the weekend Chrissy Teigen asked Twitter to weigh in on that exact question, and according to the impromptu survey, 66 percent of people say a dress shirt is called a button-up not a button-down. In actuality, they are both right. It all depends on the collar. According to fashion experts, if the collar of the shirt has buttons on it to hold it down, sometimes called an oxford collar, it is a button-down -- because the buttons hold the collar down. Everything else is a button-up. (Today
