With an ongoing story that's affected so many, this one is a nice "Warm and Fuzzy". Firefighters battling the Carr Fire received a special treat from 2-year-old Gracie: breakfast burritos. The toddler has two uncles and a grandfather who are helping to fight the raging wildfire. Thousands have been affected from this fire and is so big, it's officially the 4th largest wildfire in the state of California & has caused thousands more to evacuate.
Combined, they form the biggest blaze that California firefighters are currently battling. Altogether, the Mendocino Complex Fire has burned 266,982 acres -- growing about 70% over the weekend. As of Sunday night, it was 33% contained.
Exhausted firefighters across the state are trying to contain 17 major fires that are burning in hot, dry and windy conditions.
