Radioactive wine? Remember the Fukushima nuclear power plant disaster in Japan back in 2011? The nuclear disaster, which was caused by a 9.0-magnitude earthquake and then a tsunami, lead to radioactive materials being released into the ocean and air, with some reaching all the way to the U.S. West Coast. Well, French researchers just discovered that some Napa Valley wines that were bottled around the time of the disaster contain radioactive particles from the accident. Yikes. If it’s not on Instagram, did it really happen …? According to a new survey, more and more Millennials are choosing their travel destinations based on how much of the trip they’ll be able to post on Instagram. If they don’t think the pictures from a potential vacation will look great on social media, they’re choosing to go someplace else. The survey found that Millennials also consider the “cost and availability of alcohol,” “personal development” and “chances to experience the local cuisine” as other big considerations when planning their trips. You throw a dinner party and it’s a great success, but the last couple to leave is lingering and all you want to do is load the dish washer and go to bed! But how do you get rid of them?! It’s not an easy thing to do. According to a recent trending post on Reddit, these are some good tactics for getting rid of unwanted guests -- or just those who have overstayed their welcome:

  • Put the food and drinks away.
  • Bring up a topic that they are not interested in. Being bored usually gets people moving.
  • Start cleaning up.
  • Tell people you aren’t feeling well.
  • Say, “It’s been great seeing you, but I’ve got to get up early tomorrow.”
