The Randoms-Hours Working Moms Put in for a Week & More

Is social media more important to you than your pet? A troubling new survey has found 8 percent of pet owners would rather give up their pets than give up social media for a year. The survey also found that 7 percent of people claimed they would rather get a large tattoo of their ex on their shoulder than give up social media for a year. 57 percent said they would rather give up booze for a year than go a year without logging on. 51 percent they would rather give up coffee and 36 percent said they would rather gain 10 pounds than not check their newsfeeds. Then there are the 20 percent who said they would rather give up sex for a year than give up social media.  (Your Storage Finder)

Tipping point? A new survey on food and dating found that 61 percent of singles were turned off if a date left a small tip – less than 20 percent. And 78 percent said they were turned off if a date over-tipped in a showy manner.

And don't be rude to the waitstaff … A whopping 97 percent of respondents in the survey said that being rude to the waitstaff was a major turn-off. It was an even bigger turn-off than flirting with the server (87 percent) and ordering for your date (67 percent).

So what's a turn-on when it comes to dating and dining? 70 percent of respondents said they liked it when a date was knowledgeable about food and wine pairings. And 56 percent said it was a turn-on if a date offered a bite of his or her food. (Business Wire)

This won't surprise any working mom … According to a study, working American moms put in an average of 98 hours a week. That's right – between work, kids, and home, moms work the equivalent of two and a half full-time jobs. (Babble)
