Kelsea Ballerini just dropped the video for her latest single, “Half of My Home Town,” which features Kenny Chesney, who, like Kelsea, is originally from Knoxville, Tennessee.
The clip, which was shot in Knoxville, has Kelsea imagining what her life would have been like if she didn’t move to Nashville in her teens. In this other life, Kelsea graduates high school, becomes a hair stylist, gets married and has a baby, all the while still dreaming about becoming a singer.
“played out the what could have beens had I not left my hometown at 15 to live out this dream,” she shares on Insagram, calling the clip, “the most emotional, grounding, and full circle video I’ve gotten to make.”
