NASCAR great Jimmie Johnson announced on his Instagram yesterday that he will retire after the upcoming 2020 season.
Johnson drives the 48 car for Hendrick Motorsports and is a seven time NASCAR champion which is tied for the most all time with Richard Petty and Dale Earnhardt.
Johnson said, "I'm so thankful for 18 incredible years of racing in NASCAR. The sport has been good to me and has allowed me to do something I truly love."
