Megan Moroney posted stunning behind-the-scenes Cloud 9 photos on Instagram on Wednesday (January 7).
The award-winning country star posed in an eye-popping pink look — her new era’s signature color — in front of a tiger-print backdrop with a dazzling chandelier hanging from the ceiling. Moroney’s team said fans can “dive into Megan’s world of Cloud 9 through [exclusive] behind the scenes film photos,” with the Cloud 9: BTS Edition. Commenters were quick to say they’re “obsessed” over the ”gorgeous” photos.
Moroney, 28, announced in November that she’s releasing her highly-anticipated new album this winter. She said in a statement at the time: “I am so excited for my fans and I to dive into this new world of Cloud 9 together. Similar to the first two albums, it’s all written about honest, personal experiences, but these songs were written by the strongest, most confident version of myself I’ve ever been. My feet feel firmly planted in my artistry and it was fun to play around sonically, while still sticking to my roots of what my fans and I love. Cloud 9 is a state of mind, and I have no doubt this will be the best chapter yet.”
The “6 Months Later” artist quickly followed her album announcement with a tour date reveal. Moroney will kick off her headlining arena tour on May 29 in Columbus, Ohio. She’s since added more performance dates “due to overwhelming demand” at “top-tier arenas across the U.S.,” including in Chicago, Illinois; Atlanta, Georgia; Boston, Massachusetts; Los Angeles, California; and Nashville, Tennessee.
Cloud 9 will release on February 20. See Moroney’s list of tour dates below.
