Jason Aldean, Wife Brittany Count Down To Highly-Anticipated Duet's Debut

Jason Aldean and his wife, Brittany Aldean, told fans to “mark your calendar,” with the couple’s highly-anticipated duet on the way.

Jason confirmed in November that the track list of his upcoming studio album, Songs About Us, will include a duet with his wife. The 20-track album is due to arrive on April 24; however, fans won’t have to wait until then for new music from the reigning Academy of Country Music Artist of the Decade.

“Hey, what’s up, guys? Jason and Britt here, and I’ve been hearing a lot of people say they don’t want to wait ’til April for some new music, until the album comes out. So, how about we drop three new songs for you guys in January?” Jason said in a clip he shared on Instagram on Wednesday (January 7).

Brittany continued, “mark your calendar for January 9 because we might have something special coming for you.”

“You guys have been asking for a duet for a while, so January 9, three new songs, including our new song, ‘Easier Gone.’ Check it out,” Jason confirmed. Brittany signed off, “cheers to the New Year.”

“Easier Gone” was written by Charles Kelley, Josh Kerr, Dave Haywood and Jimmy Robbins. It appears on Songs About Us with “How Far Does A Goodbye Go” (which features Brittany in the 70s-inspired music video), “Help You Remember,” “Hard To Love You” and “Lovin’ Me Too Long,” plus collaborations with Luke Bryan and David Lee Murphy.
