Brantley Gilbert shared a few throwback photos from his wedding day with his wife, Amber Cochran Gilbert, as the couple celebrated 10 years of marriage over the weekend.
Gilbert married his wife in Georgia on June 28, 2015. The âYou Donât Know Her Like I Doâ artist wrote in his caption on Instagram that it's âhard to believe itâs been 10 years since I made the best decision of my life and married the one that got away. A decade of love and the three greatest blessings Godâs given either of us later, Iâve never been more thankful that some things are just meant to be, and that God saw fit to put us on that list. I love you pretty girl, and happy anniversary.â
Gilbert previously shared how his wife was nearly the âone that got awayâ in a conversation with brothers and podcast hosts Dan and Reid Isbell on an episode of Godâs Country. He told the Isbells that he was âblown awayâ the first time he met his wife while he was working community service hours at her church. âVery soon after that, I knew I wanted to marry her.â Gilbert said in that interview that he went down a âself-destructiveâ path, and the pair went several years without speaking to one another. They reconnected when Amber was âgoing through some thingsâ and Gilbert offered support. He remembered of that moment, âwe really didn't say anything. I just opened my arms and she kind of just fell in and I kissed her on the forehead and said, âI got you.ââ Theyâve been âinseparableâ ever since.
Now, Gilbert and his wife share three children: Barrett Hardy-Clay, 7, Braylen Hendrix, 5, and Abram Howell, born in October 2024. Gilbert and Amber welcomed Baby No. 3 on the singerâs tour bus during âwhat might have been the craziest night of my life,â he said at the time. Gilbert was pulled off stage shortly after starting his headlining show in Tupelo, Mississippi, and he announced to the audience when he returned, âwe got a baby!â He and Amber have since said âwe will never forgetâ the night Baby No. 3 was born. Other artists who welcomed babies in 2024 include Jon Pardi, Parker McCollum, Gabby Barrett and more.
