Lauren Alaina shared the thoughtful gift she prepared for her labor and delivery nurses.
The country star shared a clip on Instagram on Wednesday (June 4) set to her heartfelt single, “Those Kind Of Women,” as she organized gift baskets for her nurses. Alaina said she “saw someone else do this — this is not my idea — but I thought it was so sweet because those labor and delivery nurses work crazy hours and they bring our babies into the world. So, I think it’s really great to show a little gratitude.”
Alaina chose mostly pink items in honor of her baby girl, including snacks with pink wrappers, sparkling waters with pink cans, hand wipes, hair clips, hair ties, chilled coffees, and more.
Alaina’s “Those Kind Of Women” music video served as her surprise pregnancy announcement earlier this year. The singer-songwriter and her husband, Cam Arnold, quickly followed that announcement with a gender reveal to share that Baby No. 1 is a girl. Alaina said as she wished her husband a happy birthday on Tuesday (June 3) that she’s “so proud of the life we have built together. I can’t wait to meet our daughter so soon.”
