HARDY and Lainey Wilson joined forces once again for a stellar performance on their smash duet.

On Wednesday night, November 9, the budding Country superstars took the stage at the 56th annual CMA Awards to perform their recent collaboration "Wait in the Truck." HARDY stands on the porch of a wooden home before he begins to croon the harrowing story about a woman in distress. As he leans on a red and white pick-up truck, we can see Lainey Wilson waiting to chime in with her powerful chorus. She stepped out of the truck while sporting a black and hot pink outfit complete with her signature bell bottoms.

HARDY and Lainey performed their recent collaboration a couple of weeks after the 32-year-old singer revealed several new songs off his upcoming album the mockingbird & THE CROW. He blessed fans with songs like "here lies country music," "JACK," "TRUCK BED" and the album's title track. Prior to releasing their powerful joint effort back in August, the Mississippi native delivered his track "SOLD OUT." Earlier this year, he announced his plans for hit the road for The Wall to Wall Tour with Jackson Dean and a special appearance from rock band Puddle of Mudd.

“I’m stoked to take this Wall to Wall Tour on the road,” HARDY said in a recent press release. “We’re hitting some cities and venues that I absolutely love; I’m happy to have Jackson out with me and honored that the guys from Puddle of Mudd are joining us in Columbia. It’s going to be a great time – a loud time – every night, and it’s just the beginning of what we have in store. See you out there.”

As for Lainey Wilson, the performance comes not long after she dropped her new album Bell Bottom Country. The project contains her popular singles "Heart Like A Truck," "Watermelon Moonshine" and "Live Off."
