Billy Ray Cyrus just dropped a very interesting cover. The singer shared his take on LL Cool J’s classic “Mama Said Knock You Out.”
“I’ve always loved that song — as well as fellow Kentucky native, Muhammad Ali — and just the concept of persistence and believing in yourself,” Billy Ray shares. “Countrifying it was a joy and I feel like this song is the next segment of my circle following ‘Old Town Road.'”
The song appears on the second installment in Billy Ray’s “Singin’ Hills Sessions” EPs, subtitled “Mojave,” which dropped Friday.
