Brad Paisley has been having a lot of fun with Zoom calls during the quarantine, and he just made something pretty incredible happen with his latest. He shared video of him helping a soldier named Austin, who is stationed in Qatar, surprise his wife.
“A text caught my eye this weekend – a picture of me & a soldier named Austin together in Afghanistan,” Brad shared on Instagram. “6 years later he’s on deployment in Qatar, & we pulled off a surprise for his wife at home in Little Rock.” He added, "These are the moments I will always remember from this crazy time,” noting in the video that the whole thing was “the highlight of my weekend.”
In the clip you see a screen shot of Austin, who Brad met on a Memorial Day trip to Afghanistan in 2014 with President Barack Obama, asking Brad to Zoom with his wife, and video showing her surprise to open the Zoom with both of them on it.
Turns out the couple has a dog named Paisley.
