J.K. Rowling Starts “Harry Potter At Home” Site

With schools closed and people staying home to stop the spread of coronavirus, all kinds of celebrities are trying to help keep us entertained on social media.

Well, author J.K. Rowling is here with a new way for kids to pass the time with a new website: HarryPotterAtHome.com.

She announced the news on Twitter, “Parents, teachers, and carers working to keep children amused and interested while on lockdown might need a bit of magic.”

The site’s tagline is “Bringing Hogwarts to you” and it’s goal is to “cast a banishing charm on boredom” with magical craft videos, fun articles, quizzes and puzzles for kids.

It even allows teachers to read the seven Harry Potter books aloud to students in virtual read-a-long sessions on video.

And it's all FREE!
