The measles vaccine was updated in 1989 after a few outbreaks. That vaccine is really effective but if you were born before 1989, you only got about half of the dose, which might not be enough.
Tennessee is shutting down one of its most useful tools. The measles hotline is disconnected, which anyone could use if they have questions about the virus.
