Veteran Becomes First Double Amputee In The US To Become a Cop

Matias Ferreira, a 28-year-old Marine veteran in New York  lost both legs from the knee down in Afghanistan in 2011 just graduated from the police academy.

He uses two titanium prosthetic legs to get around and when he went into the academy his only request was he didn't want any special treatment.  So he had to go through the exact same training as everyone else.

He's the first ever double amputee to graduate and become a cop in the US.
