A New Jersey man decided to quit his job as mail carrier without even a moment's notice. However, he did it in the middle of his route and ditched his mail on the side of the road.
Someone found the abandoned mail and shared a photo of it on Facebook.
It was found on Sunday and was posted as August 8th for the delivery date.
The U.S. Postal Service confirmed that the carrier who was supposed to deliver the mail had quit and said the mail was in the process of being delivered. They also said, "We do not anticipate any further action against this individual."
