New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski's love affair with the number '69' continued at the Belmont Stakes over the weekend. (In case you were wondering, he thinks the whole sexual '69' thing is hilarious, and never gets tired of it).
When he found out someone had named a race horse after him, he bought stake in it and on Saturday he bet $69 that Gronk the horse would come in second and it DID. He ended up taking home about $950. But his $69 bet did work out for him.
He once missed a free throw in a high school basketball game ON PURPOSE, just to keep the score at 69. And he references it every chance he gets. He even bought Super Bowl tickets for exactly 69 of his friends and family this year.

Gronk and all his buddies placed $69 bets on Gronkowski the horse to place, so they’re heading back to New England very happy. pic.twitter.com/eQ6OBpGGsC— Nora Princiotti (@NoraPrinciotti) June 9, 2018
