When it was announced that the national anthem wouldn’t be played before a California high school softball game, fans went ahead and sang it anyway.
It happened Friday during a high school softball championship game between Clovis High School and Buchanan High School.
Afther the players were introduced, both teams turned toward the flag to prepare for the singing of the national anthem. The announcer then said, “There will be no anthem, play ball.”
So after some booing from the crowd they turned into a choir together to sing the National Anthem.
