A mother in Scotland has busted her nine-year-old son using Alexa to get a little help on his math homework.
Leanne Gormanley says she was cooking dinner when she heard her Amazon Echo device talking to her son,Bryce, while he was working on multiplication. And when she went in to check, she caught him asking Alexa for the answers.
She then grabbed her phone and made a video of him asking for answers. Gormanley posted the video on Facebook, where it’s gotten 2.3-million views and has been shared more than 34,000 times.
In the video you can see he has no idea she's there so when she finally interjects to ask what’s going on, he turns around and grins while explaining, “Doing my homework.”
She scolds him for cheating and tells him he’ll have to do it all again himself, but in her post, she gives him a “10/10 for cleverness.”
