Last Friday in Tennessee, a cop noticed a couple sleeping on the ground while a rattlesnake was slithering toward them. He warned them to stay still because of the snake and then told them to move slowly.
That caused the man to jump up and run, leaving the woman to fend for herself.
She followed the cop's instructions and slowly moved away. Nobody was hurt.
