Another Big Update In The Abby/Random Firefighter Texter Situation

Abby's dating dilemma has captivated The Bobby Bones Show. She received a random text message from a firefighter and things have blown up in different directions ever since.

For those just joining the story for the first time, here is a recap. Abby was sent a random text with a photo of a headshot of a firefighter posing in front of a fire engine from a phone number she didn't know. After Abby ignored the text thinking it was an accident, the person sent a follow up text stating he sent it to the wrong number. Abby playfully responded back with fire emojis and it led to them having a text conversation where the guy admitted the photo was meant for the fire chief, for the website. It was all a total accident that he texted her. Then Abby was brave enough to FaceTime the random texter, and she was able to confirm that he was indeed a real person and the same guy in the original photo. They've been texting since the FaceTime and he sent her a valuable photo showing the similarities between her phone number and his fire chief's phone number. So his whole story that it was a random text message is actually very possible now. They continued texting and she found out that he is single, has kids, and within her dating age.

In today's update (October 13), Abby surprisingly revealed that she did some fact-checking on the photo he texted her. She checked the number of his fire chief to see if it was actually legit with the name of the fire chief. Based on some Internet research, things don't add up. At this point he either photoshopped the image he sent to her or the Internet research is wrong. No one is sure. Also thrown into the mix, he likely blocked Abby on Instagram. Everyone else is able to pull up his profile, but whenever Abby tries, his profile won't show up.
