TMSG: Couple Has Given Thousands Of Sack Lunches To Needy Out Of Their Home

Ray and Martha Baca in Flagstaff Arizona run "The Jesus House," not a known organization, but just two people trying to help those who need it right out of their home.

Last year, they nearly provided 10,000 free lunches for those in need. They just open their home and communicate it to the community through word of mouth. Those who need a sack lunch just show up and ring the doorbell.

From 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day the couple opens their doors to individuals, groups, and families who need a good meal. Sometimes they even leave with winter gear and a bible. The only rule is that people must come to the house to receive a meal, so they can prevent people from taking more than their share. Each meal includes a sandwich, chips, fruit, and a cookie.

The Bacas don't ever preach or ask questions to those arriving, they just give the food away with a smile. You can read more about their story on Pinalcentral.com.
