Bunnie Xo shared a NSFW photo with a cryptic message hours before news broke that her husband, country artist Jelly Roll, filed for divorce.

The Dumb Blonde podcast host, 46, posed in lingerie, set to Metric’s “Help I’m Alive,” with the caption: “She’s getting her sparkle back.” Before that, she shared a reel of herself singing along to Nickelback’s “How You Remind Me,” and on another slide of her story, shared a listener’s reaction to her audio book.

Bunnie Xo seemingly deleted slides of her Instagram story that included a screenshot of a text message that read, “come here, let me show you what love feels like,” and a Snoop Dogg reel that read, “you’re embarrassing cut it out,” according to a report by PEOPLE published minutes before midnight ET.

Jelly Roll, 41, filed to divorce the bestselling Stripped Down: Unfiltered and Unapologetic author in Williamson County, Tennessee. TMZ broke the news on Monday night (June 15), reporting that unnamed sources said the decision to split up was “mutual.” The online court records system shows that Jelly Roll, Jason DeFord, filed to divorce his wife of nearly a decade, Alisa DeFord, on May 18.

Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo met in 2015, and although the friendship was “strictly platonic” at first, there was an instant connection. Jelly Roll proposed on stage, and the couple said “I do” in a spontaneous courthouse wedding in Las Vegas in August 2016. They renewed their vows at the same chapel in August 2023. Though they’ve often supported one another and shared emotional tributes over the years (including Jelly Roll’s emotional Grammys speech), Bunnie Xo clarified in an interview on The Kelly Clarkson Show that she doesn't want people calling them “couple goals.” She said, in part, “I know they mean it with good intention. But at the same time…we’ve been through the freaking trenches together.”

Bunnie Xo has embraced her role as stepmother to Bailee Ann, 18, and Noah Buddy, 9, Jelly Roll’s two children from previous relationships. The podcast host and author opened up in her memoir about wanting to welcome twins via surrogate. Neither she nor Jelly Roll have publicly addressed the divorce as of publication time.
