It was an eventful Labor Day Weekend and week after! I used some vacation days to take a Mother-Daughter girls trip to Lake Erie and we had a blast!
It started with us making a family Day trip to meet some cousins at "The Hill." I think next time we are ready for an overnight. Gracie LOVED it!
Then we celebrated Daddy's Birthday with a brunch trip is a cute outfit. We went to Hank's Texas BBQ in Clintonville and OMG was is AMAZING! I could drink their Alabama White Sauce.
Then it was time to head north to Port Clinton and have a few days at the lake. I have grown up going there and to take Gracie, we saw so many things in a different way. I loved every minute of making these memories with my daughter.
We of course had to make a stop at The Marblehead Lighthouse!
Before the previous photo we attempted a bunch of selfies and this was the best one of the bunch. Gracie's gap in her teeth crack me up in photos like this!
Mom and I took our selfie too! It was such a gorgeous day.
We also took a trip to The African Safari Wildlife Park and Gracie loved "feeding" the animals. Mommy was having some freak out moments with the Longhorns and llamas kept crashing in to the side door.
So many animals are in the drive-thru area and more are in the walk-around part as well! We spent a good three hours there.
We heard about Twin Oasts Brewery so we stopped for lunch one day and it is BEAUTIFUL! It's located on Catawba Island and we will definitely be making another trip.
We ended the weekend visiting our friend The Cheesecake Girl's new location in Dublin.
It's right across the street from Bridge Park on W. Dublin Granville Rd and is STUNNING! We have known Sam for a few years now and she has worked SO HARD and so long to have this stand-alone location. It's now her third location in Columbus so if you are a cheesecake fan then you will love this.
