Texas native Matthew McConaughey and a whole host of A-list musicians helped raise money last night for those affected by the recent deadly storms in Texas. The “We’re Texas” virtual revival took place last night, with several famous Texans stopping by along with a bunch of great performances, many from artists native to Texas themselves.
Among the night’s performances: Don Henley performed Jesse Winchester’s “Snow,” Willie Nelson picked the very appropriate tune “Beautiful Texas,” Miranda Lambert performed “Heart Like Mine,” Kelly Clarkson performed “Whole Lotta Woman,” George Strait performed “Troubadour,” Leon Bridges sang “Texas Sun,” Clint Black performed “Killin’ Time,” Kacey Musgraves performed “On The Road Again,” Khalid sang “Angels,” and Post Malone, featuring Dwight Yoakam’s band, wrapped up the night with a performance of “I’m Gonna Miss Her" which is really impressive!
