AMC theaters have revealed some details on their reopening plans and one bit of information that catches many eyes is that when theaters reopen face masks are optional.
At this point, the company plans to open 450 cinemas across the country July 15th and plan to be fully operational after being closed for four months because of the coronavirus pandemic.
The theater does plan to reduce the number of moviegoers in theaters to enforce social distancing, will have new cleaning procedures, cash-free concessions, and more.
Despite AMC making face masks optional for moviegoers, employees must wear face masks. If you happen to forget your mask you can buy one at the theater for a dollar.
