Blake Shelton's Tweet About a Mom's Book for Her Late Daughter Boosts Sales

A children’s book author is thanking Blake Shelton for her book sales skyrocketing. Frankie Williams is the author of “The Merdragon,” a fictional book she wrote for her 36-year-old daughter who passed away last year from an undiagnosed heart disease.

Williams reached out to Craig Morgan and Blake Shelton about Craig's song, "The Father, My Son and The Holy Ghost" (which Blake promoted heavily on social media) because it inspired her to write the book.

Blake replied to her saying he was inspired by her strength. Fast-forward months later when Williams offered to send Shelton a copy of her children’s book as a token of appreciation.
