John Krasinski Is Getting Slammed for Selling YouTube Show "Some Good News"

John Krasinski is getting slammed for selling his YouTube show "Some Good News" to Viacom CBS.

John started the show, presumably just to brighten people's lives during the pandemic and did 8 free shows.

Aome of the content will air on CBS All Access, which is a pay service and John isstaying with the show as a producer, but he's not hosting it anymore.

Here's an example of the negativity he's been getting on Twitter: "So he made 8 YouTube videos comprised largely of unpaid contributions from fans, sold the brand to a major conglomerate, and isn't even going to make it anymore? Just cashed out? Does this rub anyone else the wrong way, kinda?"

John hasn't replied to the hate, but the"SGN" Twitter account said, "We are going to be free and available on multiple platforms. SGN lives on and we hope you come with us."

The show's YouTube channel has more than 2.5 million subscribers and over 70 million views.
