A&E will be airing the special “Willie Nelson: American Outlaw” on Sunday, a concert celebrating Willie that taped in Nashville back in January, 2019.
Artists featured in the special include George Strait, Jimmy Buffett, Chris Stapleton, Dave Matthews, Eric Church, Emmylou Harris, Vince Gill and more, and now a new clip from the special has just been released.
The clip features Willie performing of “City of New Orleans” featuring Susan Tedeschi and DerekTrucks. The Steve Goodman song was recorded by Willie in 1984.
