Moment Of Zen With A Halloween Twist

A couple of weeks ago, filmed a meditation spot in my flower bed. It ends with a yellow and black garden spider. She's living on mainly grasshoppers and crickets. The male is much smaller. Once they mate, he dies from exhaustion or malnutrition or she simply eats him. She'll lay an egg sack that will hold 500 babies, only a few will survive the winter and in spring, tiny yellow spiders will emerge. Birds and other insects will eat much of those, and the next fall the remaining yellow and black garden spiders will do it all again.
